Mary Ellen Kranz workshop
This is one of the poster quilts that Mary Ellen brought to the class as a sample. This groups was a very creative bunch as they came up with many different variations to this poster. Martha printed a photo of buildings in her favorite town in Italy. She was going to use various photos that she took while there in the other squares.
Beatriz photo was a colorful stack of pencils. She wanted to make the poster for her grandson. Suggestions were made that she might print b & w pages from a coloring book in the other blocks.
Most of us hadn't made a commitment as to how we wanted to finish or what we were going to add to the other squares. I think I am going to do more camellia photos as my husband is very interested in camellias.
