Great News Today

I went down to The Arts Company today with some friends who came up from Georgia to see my exhibit. When I got there the manager, Annette told me that one of my pieces had sold. Yahoo!

This is the quilt and I named it "Sunshine" for several reason. Sunflowers need sunshine and it looks like sunshine. The weather today was the coldest of the year at 17 degrees this morning. I hope it made the person who purchased it warm in side.

  1. Congratulations! Hope you sell many more.

  2. Congratulations Marilyn - the quilt is just beautiful.

  3. How wonderful! Excellent news for you and the buyer.

  4. congrat's to you Marilyn..... This is a beautiful quilt.. reminds me of summer.. which is not coming too soon... UGH!!

  5. It's a beauty and it sure does look like sunshine. Congrats on the sale!
    It's bitter cold here, too.

  6. Thanks all you guys for the comments. It's great to know that someone is will to pay for something I love to do.
