Sorry Alice, I almost didn't get you in the photo. Alice was inspired to do the Bird of Paradise from an old print. This bird took a lot of work. Alice knew what she wanted to do with this wall hanging when she came and she was well prepared with ribbons, wire, etc. It took her almost one day to make those tail feathers out of ribbon and wire.

Alice's bird is so beautiful - the background fabric is a beautiful shimmering silk. Alice was great to work beside - we shared a "warm" experience.
