Every third Saturday of the month a special program is held at the Haygood Mill in Pickens, SC. This month a powwow of the local branch of the Cherokee Nation was held. These programs are always open to the public.
I love to go there even when there is not a program. There is always so much eye candy. This week I am going to post, hopefully, every day a different part of these events.
Today will feature all the wonderful crafts, from fry bread making to painted horses. I know there is a double post at the beginning, however, I deleted it and it is still there. Bear with me.
